News from Little Elephant Camp, Queen Elizabeth National Park

Michelle & Kevin from Little Elephant Camp write:

We just wanted to give you a few updates on what we’ve been up to at the camp since the last edition of Bradt Uganda was published

We are now very excited to be single-use-plastic-free. We have installed water purification systems in each glamping camp kitchen so that guests can enjoy safe, clean drinking water without plastic bottles. Secondly, we are now providing our guests with all-natural soap from Mama Mzungu – Natural Soaps from Uganda which are individually wrapped in paper, not plastic. It also supports a great business initiative that benefits Women and Children with Albinism https://www.mamamzungu.co/home

We have completely overhauled our website with a whole new look, new photos and clear concise information on our glamping camp – http://littleelephantcamp.com/

Lastly, I suppose we drew some inspiration from COVID and social distancing and being contactless. This spurred us to transfer our check-in procedure to an online platform, along with our guest information handbook. As guests will need an internet connection to access those, we have installed WiFi at each camp. The guest portal as we call it is only accessible to booked guests that have been given the link.

We still have our online store in place as before, however, it had a minor facelift as well https://shop.littleelephantcamp.com/
